The congregation
The Congregation is the Church of St Andrew’s, Kyrenia.
As there is not a system of parishes as in England, St Andrew's is what is known as a membership church. Those who regularly worship at the Church may be included on the electoral roll if they satisfy the following conditions.
- Are baptised Christians of the Anglican Communion or a church in communion with the Provinces of the Anglican Communion or who are full members of a member church of the World Council of Churches.
- Are 16 years of age or over.
- Reside or plan to reside in North Cyprus for approximately 3 months of the year and who habitually attend Church when they are in residence.
- Apply in writing for inclusion to the Electoral Roll Officer. Each application will be considered by the Church Council.
If you fulfil the above criteria and wish to be included on the electoral roll you should complete and sign an application form. The forms are available from the Church, the Chaplain, Church Wardens or Electoral Roll Officer or by clicking on the link below. When you have completed the form please return it to the Chaplain, Church Wardens, Electoral Roll Officer or any member of the Church Council. The completed form must have your written signature therefore electronic forms can be scanned and emailed to standrews@gawab.com Thank You.

Quite often visitors enquire of members of the congregation, I think “so-and-so” moved here so-many-years-ago. Do you know them? The expatriate community in North Cyprus is relatively small and often we do know “so-and-so” but can’t bring a telephone number to mind. So the opportunity to meet slips. For reasons of privacy, we are unable to pass on addresses and telephone numbers over the internet but we are quite happy to pass on your message and contact details to “so-and-so”, who may well then get in touch with you.
