Lord God, you are always faithful and loving to your people.

Help us in times of uncertainty to remain faithful to you, the God of peace.

We pray for those longing for peace and justice,

for those whose country is torn apart by war and terrorism,

for the parents who see their children suffer and die,

for the rescue service personnel struggling to help the injured and dying,

for those who have to burry the victims,

for those who have to help the bereaved.

We pray for the people of _____ enable them to be sustained in their time of need.
